My appologies for the lack of updates as of late, however I have a good excuse: I broke my eardrum and it’s not cool.

Updates tomorrow.

Looking Glass Wars

comicbookresources.com is reporting about a new comic series entitled Looking Glass Wars. It spawns from a novel written by Frank Beddor, one of the producers of There’s Something About Mary.

This is a darker Alyss [the Looking Glass Wars spelling of Alice] for a darker world told through ‘The Looking Glass Wars’ trilogy and a trilogy of graphic novels.

Sounds interesting. For more information, read the incredibly long article at comicbookresources.com. Hint: use subheads in an article once in a while.

Save ConnectiCon

ConnectiCon is an event that was started by Matt Daigle and Briana Benn from their own finances. ConnectiCon, from what I understand, is basically a geek fest featuring Sci-Fi, Anime, Fantasy and the like.

ConnectiCon has been going on for a few years now, and apparently a bunch of misunderstanding happened this past year and Matt is now over his head in debt (over $34,000 USD).

Many online comic creators have banded together to help the poor guy out of debt, and ensure ConnectiCon’s return, by collecting donations. As of this writing (and according to the saveconnecticon.com) they have collected $6,604.24 USD.

It’s nice to see people band together to help someone out when they really need a hand. If anyone would like to start a donation site to get my house paid off, I would much appreciate it!
