ConnectiCon is an event that was started by Matt Daigle and Briana Benn from their own finances. ConnectiCon, from what I understand, is basically a geek fest featuring Sci-Fi, Anime, Fantasy and the like.

ConnectiCon has been going on for a few years now, and apparently a bunch of misunderstanding happened this past year and Matt is now over his head in debt (over $34,000 USD).

Many online comic creators have banded together to help the poor guy out of debt, and ensure ConnectiCon’s return, by collecting donations. As of this writing (and according to the saveconnecticon.com) they have collected $6,604.24 USD.

It’s nice to see people band together to help someone out when they really need a hand. If anyone would like to start a donation site to get my house paid off, I would much appreciate it!
