Have you ever created something so bad that you were embarrassed to look at it? Then you realized that this thing was so embarrassing that you needed to share it with the world? That’s how I feel about the Sketchman comics I made years ago. Spelling, grammar, art and a good story are just a few of the things that Sketchman does not feature.

Looking back on my old Sketchman comics, I realize just how horrible I was at drawing.

You may have noticed the Texas Instruments logo in the upper right hand corner in this and some of the previous issues. That’s because I drew this crap on a pad of Texas Instruments notebook paper for a while.

I created Sketchman in the early 90’s. A good friend of mine had created a similar character and I decided to basically rip him off (he didn’t seem to mind).

Issues #1 - #4 document several fights with Sketchman’s arch-enemy, Scribble Freak. These comics have horrible spelling, and poorly done drawings. This improves as the series progresses, but not by much.
