VU Games is giving away a free reprint of The Incredible Hulk #1 with pre-order of The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, the latest in action comic book video games.

Hulk fans and core gamers will receive a free limited edition reprint of Marvel’s original The Incredible Hulk #1 - written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Jack Kirby in 1962 - when they pre-order* a copy of the action game hitting shelves August 23.- vugames.com

The comic features new covers drawn by James Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, and Paul Mounts.

Activision has won exclusive rights to develop non-online RPGs (Role Playing Games) for console systems and computers.

Under the terms of the deal Activision is granted the exclusive rights to develop and publish cross property non-persistent role playing games (RPG) that utilize a broad, “ensemble cast” of characters from the Marvel Universe. The agreement, expected to further strengthen Activision’s leadership position in the Super Hero genre, covers both the console and PC arenas. The first game under the new agreement is expected to be released in fiscal 2007.

This is interesting since Microsoft has already wrapped up the Online aspect of Marvel RPGs. Apparently other companies will still be able to develop non-RPG titles.
